Who is TEAM?

Above everything else, TEAM’s identity is found in being united to Christ and being followers of Christ. It is our union with Christ that defines who we are, what we do, and unites us to one another as members of God’s family. Everything proceeds from who we are declared to be in Christ and aspire to be as His followers. In other words, our doing proceeds from our being.

If you are seeking your place in the global Church, whether that might be as a cross-cultural worker, a donor, a prayer partner, or a sending church, we’d love to connect with you.

If you’re called to GO, you don’t have to go alone.

Opportunities in cross-cultural missions are more diverse than ever before — and they’re still growing. TEAM offers a variety of ministry roles and lengths of service. Best of all, we’ll support you all along the way.

    1 on 1 Coaching

    Your missions coach is your personal guide to becoming a missionary. You get to ask all your questions about TEAM — and Christian missions in general. We’ll ask you about your passions, skills, and how you serve in ministry right now. As you consider your options, we’ll give you the lowdown on TEAM’s mission work in relevant parts of the world, and help you determine next steps.

    In-depth Training

    Our Member Care team creates personalized care plans to help each missionary thrive. From day one, your member care coordinator will work to learn you needs. TEAM also provides pre-departure mentoring, on-field language and cultural education, and financial guidance. From the day you sign up with TEAM, we’re here to support you and your family however we can.

    Mission-minded Community

    We believe the Gospel of Christ, and communities formed by that Gospel, are the hope of the world. That’s why church ministry is at the core of every TEAM missionary’s work — whether they spend their days running a medical hospital or filling traditional church roles as pastors or counselors. Wherever you find TEAM workers, there will be a community of believers or one on the horizon.

Our IMPACT

Mobilizing disciples to partner with the global Church, we focus strategically and collaboratively to engage in Kingdom work where the most need exists. We employ technology and other material resources to help us be the hands and feet of Christ, but we are unashamedly incarnational, because we believe there is no substitute for real hands and feet on the ground.

However the needs and the strategies change over time, one thing will not. We will go.
